Wall Street Institute's Director of Curriculum Development Presenting at Upcoming ESL Industry Events

Simon Buckland, Director of Curriculum Development for Wall Street Institute, will be presenting at three prestigious ESL industry events in April. 

The TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) 2008 Annual Convention will take place on April 2 - 5 in New York City, NY, USA. Mr. Buckland will be discussing his experience with writing and publishing online teaching materials, which he oversees in his role at Wall Street Institute, to convention attendees.

The IATEFL (International Association of Language Testers in Europe) 2008 Annual Conference will be held in Exeter, England on April 7 - 10. Mr. Buckland will be discussing standards in the ESL industry.  Wall Street Institute is leading the industry in this area, and was the first ESL training provider to subject its methodology to rigorous standards testing. A landmark study, conducted with the support of the renowned University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, demonstrated that Wall Street Institute’s English language curriculum is aligned to the globally recognized Common European Framework Reference for Languages (CEFR) English Proficiency Scales.

Mr. Buckland will be presenting that landmark study at the ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) International Conference, which will take place in Cambridge, England on April 9 - 11.
